Our Pastor
Pastor Kurt & Cathy came to Westfield in 1989 where a small group of twelve believers were struggling to hang on to a vision of a Spirit-filled church that would reach out to Westfield as a mission field. The church began to grow under their leadership and within a year purchased a former school building at 146 Maple St where they meet on Sunday mornings.
Pastor Kurt has led the flock in a steady pattern of growth, both spiritually and numerically. He is actively involved in missions in the Ukraine and other countries, while continuing to have oversight of the local church.
Pastor Kurt not only pastors Valley Christian, but also operates his own business and leads the local ministerium in reaching out to the community at large. Cathy is active in ministry in music and various other ministry helps.
He has authored several books, including "Pathways of Life Devotionals," "I'm Saved! Now What?,""Jeremiah," "Covenants" and others. His inspirational devotionals are an outgrowth of his own devotional time and personal study of the Word of God.
